NYU's Sustainable Gardening and Landscaping Practices
The NYU Garden Shop serves the University community by designing, installing, and maintaining gardens and containers. The Garden Shop is committed to adding an ecological dimension to Washington Square campus garden areas, and is currently striving for comprehensive, environmentally responsible landscaping and grounds care.
Housing Standards (NYU Strategic Assessment, Planning and Design)
The Office of Strategic Planning, Assessment and Design, in collaboration with Facilities and Construction Management, is developing NYU Sustainable Design Standards and Guidelines. These guidelines will assist architects, engineers, project managers and clients within and outside the University as they design and construct campus buildings. The primary objective of the guidelines is to advance the University's efforts in promoting efficiency, design and construction quality, and sustainability. These Housing Standards are the first aspect of this process to be completed and made public.
