Campus Transportation
NYU provides safe, dependable, and free campus transportation services between residence halls and the NYU campus bus stop at 715 Broadway. Scheduled routes operate on summer schedules from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm when classes are in session. Schedules may be printed from the campus transportation services website at www.nyu.edu/ride.
Route A/B provides service between the campus bus stop and the Broome Street, Lafayette Street, Water Street, and Second Street residence halls. Route E provides service between the campus bus stop and the Third North, Palladium, University Hall, Coral Towers, and University Court residence halls, and also the College of Dentistry and School of Medicine.
Safe Ride Vans provide on-call, sharedride transportation to and from NYU facilities from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., seven days a week when classes are in session. Residents may call (212) 992-VANS (8267) to request a Safe Ride Van.
For up-to-the-minute recorded information call the 24-hour campus transportation service update line at (212) 998-RIDE (7433). At those times when neither Safe Ride Vans nor scheduled routes operate, residents who require transportation services to and from NYU facilities may call the Department of Public Safety at (212) 998-2222. A Department vehicle will provide transportation as soon as one is available.
