Payment Deadlines

Reservation Payment

Your $500 reservation payment must be submitted within one week of your completion of the Summer Housing application. Summer Housing applications are not considered complete until your $500 reservation payment has been received.

Balance Payments

All Summer Housing charges must be paid by mid-May 2017. Summer residents whose reservation is confirmed after mid-May must remit payment within six business days.

All balances must be paid in full prior to the start of the Summer Housing reservation.

Residents will receive notification by email with instructions on accessing their charges & billing summary online through the Bursar’s eSuite.

Making a Payment

More information about submitting reservation payments and balance payments can be found on the NYU Bursar’s website.

Please note, NYU does not accept credit card payments.

How to pay your $500 Reservation Payment

Option 1: Online via eCheck (recommended)

  • Login to NYU Global Home with your Net ID and password

  • Click the ACADEMICS tab

  • Click ALBERT LOGIN

  • Click the NYU Housing Payments link

  • Click the Continue to eSuite link

  • Click the Deposits tab at the top of the page and follow the directions.

  • Please make sure to select the term summer 2017 and the Summer Housing Deposit.

Option 2: By Mail

You may also pay by mailing a personal check or money order to NYU Summer Housing.

Reservation payments should be mailed with the reservation payment coupon to:

How to pay your Summer Housing Balance

How to pay your Summer Balance online via eCheck

  • Login to the NYU eSuite through your NYU Global Home account

  • Once in the NYU eSuite, click the payments tab at the top of the page or the green “make a payment” button on the front page

  • Select the “make a payment” button again

  • Click inside the circle of the “Current account balance.” There will be a blank box next to the amount, click in the box and fill-in the amount you would like to pay. Click the “Continue” button.

  • At Payment Method, click arrow for “drop down box,” and select “Electronic checking.”

  • Click the green “Select Button” at the bottom of the page

  • Enter the Checking Account Routing number, and Checking Account number. Do not use the “Option to Save.”

  • After you have read the Terms and Conditions, check the box at the bottom of the page.
    Once you have checked the box, the green “Submit” button will appear. You can also click on the blue links below “Print Agreement” or “Terms and Conditions” to print for your records.

How to pay your Summer Balance by mail

You may also pay by mailing a personal check or money order to the NYU Bursar’s Office.

The check must be payable to New York University in U.S. currency and be drawn on a bank in the U.S. Please write your student ID number on your check.

If a check is returned, the resident will be charged a $20.00 returned check fee and a $25.00 late payment fee. Students will also be prevented from using paper/electronic personal checks in the future.

How to pay via International Payment

Applicants without a U.S. bank account are able to send international funds with real­time currency conversion through Flywire (by peerTransfer) or WUBS. Please visit the NYU Bursar’s website here for more information.

Reviewing Your Account

How to view your Summer 2017 account balance:

  • Log into NYU Global Home and click the Academics tab

  • Click the Albert Login button

  • Click the NYU Housing Payments link

  • On the Transfer to the NYU Office of the Bursar Electronic Suite (eSuite) page: select the link “Click here to continue to the NYU Office of the Bursar eSuite”

  • Click on the View Account Activity button

Refund Requests

Request for refunds should be made to:

No refund will be made if there is an outstanding balance owed to the University.
