The 2013 Summer Housing application is now only available to matriculated NYU students and applicants enrolled or affiliated with NYU this summer.

Before you submit your application, it is important that you familiarize yourself with the type of accommodations we offer, as well as our policies and procedures regarding initial payment, and canceling your reservation. As part of your application, you will be required to review and agree to the terms and conditions of the 2013 Summer Housing License.

Please note that once your application is complete, it will take up to 4-6 weeks to process.

The priority deadline for application submission for current NYU students and non-NYU students enrolling at NYU this summer is April 10, 2013.

Applying Online

To access the Summer Housing application enter through the Housing Channel located on NYU Home.

After you have successfully logged into NYU Home, click on the "NYU Life" tab and then click on the "Student Housing & Meal Plans" link. This will bring you to NYU Housing web portal. Click on "Application" at the top of the page and then choose the "Summer 2013" application.

New Applicants

If you do not have an NYU identification number, please complete the registration form below to generate an NYU identification number and create an NYU Home account. This process typically takes up to three business days to complete.

Returning Applicants

If you are not an NYU student and you stayed in NYU Summer Housing in the past, you must complete this registration to reactivate your NYU Home access. This process typically takes up to three business days to complete.

If you are enrolled in a non-credit NYU SCPS course this summer and need access to the NYU Summer Housing application please email our office at summer.housing@nyu.edu.

Application Deposit

Applicants are required to submit a $500 deposit with their application for Summer Housing.

The $500 deposit will be credited to the applicant’s account and will count towards overall summer housing costs. Please note, all requests to cancel NYU Summer Housing are subject to a cancellation fee.

Applicants may submit payment online or by mailing in a check or money order. Applications are not complete until payment is received.

Deposit Payment Options

Online with Personal Check:

Online check payments can be made by electronic check on the NYU Bursar eSuite (click on the 'eDeposits' tab at the top of the webpage).

The checking account must be from a US based bank that allows ACH transactions (ACH is an electronic network for financial transactions in the US). Applicants must provide their checking account number as well as their bank's routing number (both of these numbers can be found on a blank check).

Please note that upon entering payment, your checking account will be debited for the payment amount. If NYU Summer Housing is unable to offer housing, the payment will be fully refunded.

Non-NYU students

NYU Matriculated students (enrolled in coursework currently or for Summer 2013)

Payment by Mail:

Applicants who wish to pay by money order or who would prefer to pay with a standard bank check may submit payment by mail.

Payments by mail must be received by NYU Summer Housing within one week of application completion. Checks or money orders must be made payable to "New York University."

Please download the payment form, attach your check or money order to the form, and return the documents to the mailing address listed on the form.

NYU does not accept credit card payments.

Applicants Under 18

Applicants under the age of 18 may apply online provided they will be actively participating in an NYU sponsored program during their residency.

At a later time, depending on your program affiliation, you may be contacted by email and will be required to submit a consent form completed by a parent or guardian.
