In accordance with the applicable local, state, and federal disability laws, New York University will endeavor to provide reasonable accommodations for an individual eligible to reside in Summer Housing who has a qualifying physical or mental disability.
In order to be considered for a reasonable housing accommodation, a resident and his/her healthcare provider must read the Reasonable Housing Accommodations information packet and complete the Request for Reasonable Housing Accommodations application. The information packet and application are distributed by the New York University Moses Center for Students with Disabilities. Completed Reasonable Housing Accommodations applications should be submitted directly to the Moses Center for review.
If you have additional questions about this process, please contact the Moses Center for Students with Disabilities by email at housing.summer.medical@nyu.edu.
The deadline for residents with a confirmed reservation to submit documentation to the Moses Center is April 1, 2013. Documentation submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
