Applicants with Special Needs

In accordance with the applicable local, state, and federal disability laws, New York University will endeavor to provide reasonable accommodations for an individual eligible to reside in Summer Housing who has a qualifying physical or mental disability.

In order to to be considered for a reasonable housing accommodation, a resident and his/her healthcare provider must complete the Reasonable Housing Accommodation Request Packet, which is a packet of information distributed by the New York University Moses Center for Students with Disabilities in order to initiate the request process. This packet is to be submitted directly to the Moses Center upon completion.

If you have additional questions about this process, please contact the Moses Center for Students with Disabilities by email at housing.summer.medical@nyu.edu.

The deadline for residents with a confirmed reservation to submit documentation to the Moses Center is April 1, 2012. Documentation submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
