Get Your ID Card

The NYU Card Center

  • 383 Lafayette Street (corner of East 4th Street & Lafayette)

The NYUCard is a multipurpose identification card issued to all registered students. For security purposes, all students are required to have their NYUCard in their possession at all times.

The NYUCard entitles you to various privileges and potential uses on and off campus. Your NYUCard allows you access to the Bobst Library and other professional libraries depending on your school affiliation, campus transportation, Coles Sports and Recreation Center and Palladium Athletic Facility, NYU computer centers, dining facilities, NYU administrative buildings, and residence facilities.

For the NYUCard Center's hours of operation or for information regarding your NYUCard, please call 212-443-CARD or visit our Web site at www.nyu.edu/nyucard.

Students are asked to turn in their NYU ID Card at the end of their term of study (it will be deactivated at that time). If a student returns for a future term without having turned in their ID Card they will be assessed a $15 replacement fee.

(When obtaining an NYU ID card you must present a form of photo identification. Contact the NYUCard Center for a list of acceptable forms of identification.)
