International Students

As of March 1st, we are no longer accepting applications from international students.

All international students must attend a mandatory check-in workshop upon starting their classes at NYU. Please refer to the OISS webpage for dates and more information.

We welcome international students! In most instances, international students who want to enroll in summer courses should obtain a student visa in order to attend NYU Summer Sessions. It is important to allow plenty of time to ensure that all steps can be completed before the beginning of the session. Permanent residents and individuals in the U.S. pursuant to certain non-immigrant visa categories are not required to submit additional visa documentation to enroll in courses. Typically, individuals who enter the U.S. on a B visa or pursuant to visa waiver are not eligible to participate in a course of study at NYU. Please contact the NYU Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) with specific visa related questions at newinternationalstudents@nyu.edu.

All international students MUST check in with the NYU Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) upon arrival in order to be in compliance. Visit the OISS website for a list of dates and times for visiting student check in.
