Eligibility
Students currently enrolled at NYU
Students who are currently matriculated in an NYU degree program are able to earn credits toward their degree through NYU Summer in NYC. NYU students must register on Albert; please do not submit the online application form. For information about University deadlines, check the 2011-2012 academic calendar.
Individuals not currently enrolled at NYU
Current students in an undergraduate or graduate program outside of NYU
Students may register for summer courses as long as they have a high school diploma or equivalent. If you have any questions about your eligibility for participation, please contact the Office of University Programs, 212-998-2292.
Current high school students
- Students who are in their final year of high school are eligible to apply for Session II if they anticipate obtaining a diploma before the session begins. Diploma verification will be required prior to the start of classes.
- High school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply for any of our High School Programs.
Freshman Applicants
Students who plan to accept an offer of admission to NYU may take summer classes by submitting the following Visiting Student application form. Full-time student status begins in the fall.
Transfer and Graduate Degree Applicants
Students who plan to accept an offer of admission to NYU must contact the appropriate admissions office for clearance to register and for further instructions. Do not submit the online NYU application form.
International Students
International individuals not currently pursuing a degree at NYU may register for summer courses if they have a high school diploma or equivalent. Learn more.
