Tuition & Fees - 2012

If you are registered for classes you are responsible for all costs (tuition and fees) associated with your courses. Please be aware that if you have decided not to participate in the Precollege program you must drop your classes via NYU Albert and notify the Office of University Programs in writing at university.programs@nyu.edu so that you are no longer responsible for the costs.

Tuition can be calculated by taking the number of credits/units the student wishes to enroll in and multiplying it by the price per unit, which is $1,220. See below for an example.

Sample Tuition and Fee Calculation for 4-units/credits (approx. 1 course):

Fee Formula Cost
Tuition # of units/credits (4) X $1,220/unit $4,880
Mandatory Univ. Services Fee
(Paid for first course only)
$276
Total Due $5,156

Sample Tuition and Fee Calculation for 8-units/credits (approx. 2 courses):

Students participating in the Residential Program are required to take 2 credit-bearing courses (6-8 units/credits)
