Residential Students

Students who have chosen to participate in the NYU Precollege residential option should review the following information carefully.

NYU Precollege offers students a chance to experience college firsthand. In addition to rigorous academics, our program provides an organized and varied social experience both on campus and off. We want students to spend time experiencing what it means to be college students by taking classes with both NYU and other college students. We also want you to learn how to manage your time by balancing school work with required events and free time.

In order to build a strong student community, we have planned a variety of activities. These include group events in New York City and exciting social activities around NYU.

Academic Requirements:

Once you've completed your housing application you must make sure you are scheduled for the required number of classes. All students living on campus must meet the registration requirements below.
