Summer Study Abroad 2009
NYU offers summer study in more than 25 locations worldwide. To find what you are looking for, select the "List of Programs" option on the top left. You will then be able to search programs by destination (country) or by the school at NYU whose faculty leads them. If you see a program in the list that interests you, click on its title for further information and a link to the application.
In addition to currently enrolled NYU undergraduate and graduate students, students from other colleges and universities and adults who want to earn college credits may apply. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and most programs also require the completion of at least two full-time semesters of college credit.
Students who are not enrolled at NYU should consult their home college/university (usually an academic adviser) to find out if their school will accept the transfer credits. NYU is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools but each institution may have specific policies dictating what classes are transferable from outside institutions.
Since NYU's summer study abroad programs are run through various departments and schools at New York University, please refer to individual program descriptions and contact information for details about applying, costs, and courses.
