This course provides an intensive workshop setting where students produce music soundtracks for their films, working closely with composers and/or music from a library. Each student has access to state-of-the-art systems, such as ProTools, GarageBand, Logic Audio, and Cue: The Film Music System. In addition, students use the Arts Technology Group (ATG) Lab in NYU’s Information Technology Services (ITS). The ATG lab is equipped with the latest technology for music and sound production, including digital sound and video editing capabilities.
