My Highlights

My first steps on the cobblestones into the backlit Old Town Square at night...the enticing aromas of goulash and pilsner wafting from beer halls...Prague's central location in Europe, making it easy to travel anywhere on the continent...arriving in Rome to see the new Pope (and almost falling off the chair I stood on while waving to him)...cheering on the Czech Republic's hockey team to a world championship among a massive crowd in Old Town Square...tossing the frisbee in Letna Park by the Vlatva River...waiting for the night tram and the ensuing excitement when the familiar screeches reached my ears... meeting the friendliest, warmest people in the world.
