Congratulations on your acceptance to Hamilton College or Wheaton
College! By now you’re probably excited to start your college
experience next spring, but might be wondering how your fall
semester would be best spent. New York University’s Office of Global
Programs now offers you the opportunity to begin your college career
in the European capital city of London. There, you’ll take select
courses approved by Hamilton College or Wheaton College for credit
transfer back to your home institution so that you stay on track
toward your degree requirements and graduate on time in May 2012. A
group of freshmen who will be attending New York University at its
Washington Square campus in New York in the future will also be
participating in the program.
You may have accessed this web site through the NYU Study Abroad
Admissions web site, but you should use this site as your main
reference for forms and information about the Fall in London
Freshman Program. During the academic year, upperclassmen from both
NYU and other leading US colleges and universities study at NYU in
London. All students take classes at the
NYU in London academic center, a restored 18th century Georgian
townhouse on beautiful Bedford Square.
Applying:
You may apply to the Fall in London Freshman Program using the NYU Study Abroad online application. When you are prompted to create a new account please be sure to select the following information:
Student Status: Fall in London Freshman Student

You'll also be asked to provide three short essays in your application that you may want to prepare in advance:
- What activities, sports or extra-curricular activities would you like to participate in while in London and why? (approx. 100 words)
- What cities/towns/areas/sites of the UK/Europe would you be interested in
visiting and why? (approx. 150 words)
