Thank you for considering NYU’s unique freshmen programs abroad! As you may know, NYU works closely with other colleges and universities to design study abroad programs for first-year students who have been offered January admission to another institution. On these programs, you enroll in approved courses and earn credits to stay on track with your degree requirements.
Outside of the classroom, our full-time professional staff plans activities to help you experience authentic college life while having an instructive international experience. You live in NYU housing, visit major museums and cultural centers of the city, participate in extracurricular activities (i.e. sports and theater productions), and take advantage of various local excursions.
