Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU’s General Studies Program! By now you’re probably excited to start your college career in the European capital city of London. Here, you’ll follow an academic program approved by GSP so that you remain seamlessly on track toward your degree requirements and graduate on time. A group of freshmen who will be attending Hamilton College and Wheaton College in the spring semester will also be attending NYU in London in the fall. We are excited about this, as it makes the student population of our London program more diverse and also offers you more colleagues with whom to share an amazing experience abroad.

You may have accessed this web site through the NYU Study Abroad Admissions web site, but you should use this site as your main reference for forms and information about the GSP Freshman Year in London Program. During the academic year, upperclassmen from both NYU and other leading US colleges and universities also study with NYU at London. As such, the general Study Abroad Admissions website contains information for those students. Since not all information applies to all students (and different groups could have different deadlines, forms, etc) you should ensure that the information you are reading applies to you. Additionally, as you prepare for your year abroad, you’ll also receive information about NYU in NYC. While we realize this can sometimes be confusing, legal issues require that all freshmen entering NYU must receive certain publications. If you are ever confused about whether or not something you receive pertains to you, please contact us as we are happy to clarify.

Once you've familiarized yourself with this site you may also want to take a look at the web site maintained by our staff in London which offers more specific information about the NYU Center, the city of London and the resources available in the city.
