Eligibility

Students who are beginning their undergraduate studies for the spring 2010 semester are eligible to apply to the program.

All students must be 18 years of age by August 1, 2009, in order to be eligible. If you’re outgoing, mature, and serious about your education, and you have an interest in Italian culture, the Fall in Florence Freshman Program offers an exceptional opportunity.

When to Apply

We will begin accepting applications for fall 2009 in April. The deadline to apply is June 1, 2009. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis should the program reach capacity prior to the deadline.

How to Apply

Interested students should apply online using the NYU Study Abroad application. Transcripts or recommendation letters are not required.

Notification

Once your application is filed we’ll confirm your eligibility and notify you of your admittance to the program via email, space-permitting. You’ll also receive a confirmation form to reserve your space in the program.

Reserving your spot

Your space in the program will be guaranteed only once we have received your confirmation form and a $300 deposit in the form of a personal check. The deposit will be credited towards your tuition. After receipt of your deposit, we will mail you a packet of information regarding travel, course registration and immigration procedures that will also be made available on this website. At that time, you can then move to the “admitted students” section of our website which takes you through the necessary steps to prepare you for your fall in London in the months leading to departure.
