Scholarships and Financial Aid for NYU Students
Studying abroad doesn't necessarily cost more than a semester in New York. The
cost of tuition remains the same, while costs associated with housing and meals
are generally equivalent to that in New York, and may even be less in some
cases. As an NYU student, your current financial aid package will apply to the NYU Study Abroad program.
Apply for Additional Financial Aid
If you currently receive financial aid, you are encouraged to have the NYU Office of Financial Aid re-evaluate your aid package based on the estimated expenses of your study abroad
program. The easiest way to do this is to complete the on-line Financial Aid for Study Abroad application form.
Students who submit an application form by November 6th for the spring
semester and May 1st for the fall semester will be given priority
consideration.
Once you have submitted your application for additional financial aid form your request will be reviewed by the
Office of Financial Aid and they will notify you of your new award package in June (for fall) and in November (for spring). You will be able to view your financial aid package,
including any adjustments for upcoming semesters, using Netpartner, the
Office of Financial Aid's online system.
