Field trips may take students to the nearby historic city of Potsdam, the Babelsberg film studios, the Museum at Checkpoint Charlie, the 1936 Olympic Stadium, the Reichstag parliament building, the cemetery where Bertolt Brecht is buried, and the Jewish Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind. In addition, all students take day trips to visit the neighboring cities of Leipzig, Dresden, Weimar, or Humburg. On your own, you may plan weekend trips to Brussels, Cologne, and Munich or to other European cities. Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Madrid are easy to visit on the many inexpensive flights that leave from Berlin’s convenient Schoenefeld and Tegel airports.
