NYU Expands in the Middle East

NYU is proud to announce the opening of NYU in Tel Aviv. The coursework is designed to provide students with a vivid and objective understanding of Israel and the Middle East region and the complex interrelationships among cultures, political movements, environments, and religious traditions.  Students will learn from leading scholars in the classroom, engage in internships with numerous organizations, and have the opportunity to explore the region through independent projects. Apply now for fall semester 2009.

NYU has also added the program Archaeology and History in Egypt. NYU's Egypt program will feature a three part curriculum beginning with an intensive course "The Oases of Egypt", followed by participation in the excavations at Amheida, and ending with the course "The Archaeology of Egypt's Nile Valley".  Apply by May 8  for spring semester 2010.
