Whether you're transferring to NYU from a community college, university, returning to NYU after studying abroad during your first semester or visiting, you can sign up to be be in a cohort of fellow Transfer and Transitioning students each who are matched with a Transfer Ambassador (TA). TAs are student leaders who plan fun events and programs such as meet-ups, dinners, movie nights and museum visits! Your TA is matched with you based on shared NYU school, major or similar interests.

TA's are student leaders who successfully transferred and transitioned to NYU. TAs assist the Student Resource Center with providing fun and interactive programming for new and returning transfer students. Applications for TA are open each spring semester in February. It's a great way to engage with fellow transfer students, lead events, build relationships, develop skill sets and have fun!
