The Office of Lesbian, Gender, Bisexual, and Transgender Student Services creates a welcoming environment for all University students and faculty interested in developing their understanding of LGBT issues.   Support services, resources, programs, advocacy, training, education and consultation are provided to members of the NYU community.  With its services, programs and resources, the Office of LGBT Student Services exists to create campus environments that are inclusive and supportive of student diversity in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.

The office offers a number of opportunities to help build personal communities and support by connecting students with other members of the NYU community as well as providing information on what New York City has to offer in terms of LGBT services.  The Office of LGBT services is a place where students can meet, discuss, learn and voice the LGBT issues they encounter on a daily basis.  For faculty and staff, the office is a great resource for ensuring all University services and events are inclusive and supportive of the LGBT community.  As an institution that fosters and encourages diversity, NYU is committed to supporting the LGBT community, and the Office of LGBT Student Services is the liaison dedicated to this endeavor and the voice of the NYU LGBT network.  Navigate this page to learn more about the office and the many services it provides.
