Commuter Overnight Retreat

Although it is not mandatory for incoming first-year undergraduate commuters to attend the retreat it is highly encouraged.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn about life at NYU, obtain a locker, meet your commuter assistant and other peers and attend a special school reception unique for commuter students. Most importantly, it will be FUN!

• There is a $50 registration deposit required to attend.
• The $50 registration deposit will be credited to your NYU Campus Cash account after attending the retreat.

• Although the actual retreat is for students only, parents are invited to attend the Parents Lunch Reception
• Here you will meet the Commuter & Off-Campus Student Programs staff and hear from representatives from Global Programs, Residential Life, Aramark Food Services & Parents Services.  

Students will be placed with other students of the same gender and assigned to rooms at random.

It is highly encouraged that you attend the entire retreat but if you are unable to spend the night due to personal reasons please contact us at commuter.office@nyu.edu
