• Serve as a role model to a cohort of thirty-five or less commuter students
• Send a weekly email to students informing them about relevant on and off-campus events and services and check email regularly and respond to questions from students; provide advice on topics such as academics, time management, wellness, roommate and parent issues; and refer students to appropriate offices and organizations at NYU
• Attend weekly meetings- alternating between 1on1s with supervisor & team meetings
• Organize team and individual programming as per guidelines established by Commuter & Off-Campus Student Programs Staff; Approx. 3 team programs & at least two formal cohort meet-ups per semester
• Participate in 10 staffing hours per semester and 2 continuing education hours per semester
• Assess commuter student programs and needs via interviews with cohort during fall semester (Commuter Conversations)
• Immediately notify Program Supervisors if students are perceived as "at risk" and in need of additional help
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the CA Supervisors or other Student Resource Center staff
