Advisement and Registration

As part of your orientation, all incoming NYU students will work with an academic advisor who will help you craft a schedule that fits your academic, career, and life goals while meeting your school’s requirements. You will continue working with an advisor throughout your time at NYU as you explore the many opportunities and resources available to you as a student. For more information on advisement, please visit the Undergraduate Advisement website., click here >>.

School Orientations

In addition to programs during Welcome Week, each school conducts their own Orientation program that will introduce students to academic policies and procedures, opportunities to meet with advisors, meet other students in their school, as well as Deans and Directors who can help with your academic and personal success. For individual school and program New Student Orientations, use the links on the right of this page.
