School Orientation and Registration

Course Registration and Advisement

As a new NYU student, you will work with an academic advisor who will help craft a schedule that fits your academic, career, and goals while meeting your school's requirements. You will meet with your advisor during orientation and work together throughout your time at NYU. You should expect to hear more details regarding advisement and course registration from your school or degree program. For more information on advisement, please visit the Undergraduate Advisement website.

School-Specific Orientation

In addition to exciting programs during Welcome Week, each school will host an orientation program that will introduce students to specific academic policies and procedures, their academic advisors, fellow classmates, as well as deans and directors who can help with academic and personal success.
