Andrew Hamilton will be officially inaugurated as the 16th President of NYU on Sunday, September 25. To mark the occasion and celebrate as a community, the University is planning a series of special events -- from faculty presentations to student showcases to community-building activities. "New York University requires all freshmen living in NYU housing to participate in the NYU Dining meal plan program. All freshmen will automatically be assigned the 300 Flex meal plan. Meal Plan changes may only be made by online at https://housing.nyu.edu/mealplans.
Most students are automatically enrolled in an NYU-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan. Students can use the online process to change their NYU plan option or to waive the NYU plan if they maintain alternate insurance coverage that meets the University's criteria at www.nyu.edu/health/insurance.

Parents of new freshmen and transfer students are invited to attend this one-day program of workshops and receptions hosted by individual schools and Student Affairs offices.
