If you have been admitted as a visiting student for the Summer in NYC program and you are having trouble registering for a course because of a prerequisite issue or course restriction, you must submit the Summer in NYC Enrollment Request Form. Please note that in order to complete the form, you must have already activated your NYU NetID and be logged into NYU email account. Do not request access to the form. If you are properly logged into your NYU email account, you do not need to request access.
You cannot access and submit this form if you have not yet been admitted to the Summer in NYC program. If you are interested in applying, please visit the Office of University Programs's application page.
Students visiting NYU for the Summer in NYC program should be able to register themselves for any courses that do not have prerequisites or restrictions listed in the Albert Course Search. If you are having trouble navigating Albert, you are strongly encouraged to watch the Office of the University Registrar's "How To" Video on Albert and review their Albert training guides.
Please Note: First Summer Session (6W1) and First Quarter (3W1) courses began the week of May 27th and students are no longer able to self-enroll in these courses via Albert. To enroll in one of these courses you must provide instructor permission to enroll in the course. You should NOT submit this form. If the instructor gives permission to enroll in his or her course, please forward the email to Mike West at mike.west@nyu.edu. Please be sure to include the class number in your email. Submitting this form WILL NOT grant you permission to enroll in a First Summer Session or First Quarter course.
