The Academic Resource Center (ARC) houses academic advising services dedicated specifically to helping visiting students register for courses and navigate their academic experience at NYU.
Admitted students can contact the academic advisor for visiting students by emailing email@example.com.
If you have questions about applying as a visiting student or about the application process, students should contact the Office of University Programs directly via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 212-998-2292.
You may add/drop courses through the ADD/DROP period of the term in which you're participating.
If you have been admitted as a visiting student and you are having trouble registering for a course because of a prerequisite issue or course restriction, you must submit the Enrollment Request Form. Please note that in order to complete the form, you must have already activated your NYU NetID and be logged into your NYU email account. Do not request access to the form. If you are properly logged into your NYU email account, you do not need to request access.
You cannot access and submit this form if you have not yet been admitted. If you are interested in applying, please visit the Office of University Programs' Visiting Student website.
Students visiting NYU for any term should be able to register themselves for any courses that do not have prerequisites or restrictions listed in the Albert Course Search. If you are having trouble navigating Albert, you are strongly encouraged to watch the Office of the University Registrar's "How To" Video on Albert and review their Albert training guides.
