Free Online Fitness Classes
NYU’s Department of Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation offers more than 100 free fitness classes each month for beginners, seasoned-athletes, and everyone in between!
Rise and Rest
Navigating our current world climate as a Black person calls for a radical commitment to rest and care. This space was created for intentional healing, self-love, and celebration of the NYU Black community. Please join us for a healing circle of meditation, poetry, and music. Let us RISE AND REST together! Centers Black faculty, staff, and students.

Join us the 1st Wednesday of each month at 12 PM ET for a 45-minute curious discussion exploring spiritual hygiene, community care, our current world climate and being of service! Led every month by Black spiritual teachers from different faith/spiritual traditions. Each session will include a short teaching and meditation practice.

Faith as a Bridge
This learning and development opportunity will empower you to build coalitions across faith traditions, and find ways to turn your religious commitments into empowered moral activism.

Faith Zone is a learning and development opportunity designed to promote spiritual and religious literacy and dialogue. Topics covered include reflecting on personal experiences with faith and spirituality, examining the global and local context for various religious traditions represented at NYU, as well as discussing tips for creating a curious and welcoming environment in one’s office, residence hall, student group, or classroom.

Cultivating Beloved Community
This learning and development opportunity will focus on empowering you as a leader to impact and foster curiosity, empathy, connection, and togetherness within your daily life. We will look at Belonging through a mindfulness lens and how you as the individual contribute to the collective and what we all must hold ourselves responsible too for the care and benefit of all. Walk away with new tools for deep listening, self care and stress reduction.

Connect with a Spiritual Life Advisor
Global Spiritual Life at NYU hosts 70 spiritual life advisors representing various faiths, denominations, and groups on campus; each is available to meet with students upon request.
Wellness Workshops are designed to help students develop new skills that enhance personal, academic, and social well-being; current offerings span Life Skills, Navigating Healthy Dating Relationships, Stress Management During Uncertain Times, Understanding Trauma, Time Management and more. Workshops focus on skill acquisition and are only one to four sessions in duration.
Group therapy provides a safe and confidential place to explore concerns around various issues. Talking to other students who have had similar experiences offers support, healing, and perspective. Groups typically consist of 6-8 students meeting weekly, and all groups at NYU are led by trained therapists.
