Thanksgiving Break Guide
November 26 to November 29. 2020
For the Thanksgiving Break, NYU administrative offices will close at 4pm on Wednesday November 25. Note that some services and facilities may be open during the Thanksgiving Break, including the Department of Public Safety (212-998-2222) and the Wellness Exchange (212-443-9999). All residence halls are open and staffed.
10am to 6pm
The Kimmel Market Place will be open on Thanksgiving day for a Grab-and-Go Thanksgiving themed menu served all day. Options for students with dietary restrictions, and for students following Kosher, Halal, vegetarian, and vegan diets will also be available. All for one meal swipe!
Please note that building swipe access, the Daily Screener and masks are required.
- Herb-roasted turkey breast with gravy
- Classic bread stuffing
- Maple-mustard butternut squash
- Herb-crusted tofu
- Candied yams
- Green bean & mushroom casserole

Some NYU facilities will be open during or all or parts of the break. Please visit the respective locations for hours of operation and services available.
Volunteering and Seasonal Happenings
Spend some time virtually volunteering this Thanksgiving! NYU Service has gathered a list of virtual volunteer opportunities that students can participate in. Opportunities include participating in scientific research, making wellness calls to seniors, and ways to give back to your own community.
