Programs for NYU International Spouses and Partners
International Spouses and Partners English Program (ISEP)
ISEP, sponsored jointly by the OGS and NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, provides non-credit English instruction for the spouses and partners of NYU’s international students and scholars. The classes, taught by graduate students from Steinhardt, focus on conversational English and American culture, and are offered in 12-week sessions during the fall and spring semesters. The cost is $99 per semester.
Fall 2020 Information:
Due to COVID-19 classes will take place remotely online via Zoom sessions. Classes will begin the week of September 21st, will run for 12 sessions, and be 1.5 hours each week. Classes will take place during Eastern Time (ET), US and Canada. An example of ET is what someone refers to when speaking about time in New York City.
Mondays - 9:00am - 10:30am - ET
Tuesdays - 10:00am - 11:30am - ET
Thursdays - 10:30am - 12:00pm - ET
The application for Fall 2020 classes is now open. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 16th at 4pm - ET. Apply by making an online payment for $99, then filling out the ISEP Fall 2020 Application!

International Spouses and Partners Group (ISG)
ISG allows spouses and partners of NYU’s international students and scholars to meet informally to share common interests and concerns as well as explore NYC together! Children are welcome to attend the meetings, but must be supervised. ISG generally meets at the same time and place, but usually has excursions around the city (to cafes, museums, walking tours, ferry rides, etc.
