Albert Mobile Guest Users

Students have the option to provide other individuals access to the following information from their Albert records:
  • Account Activity (view only)
  • Advisor Information (view only)
  • Class Schedule (view only)
  • Contact Information (view and update)
  • Emergency Contacts (view and update)
  • Exam Schedule (view only)
  • Financial Aid (view only)
  • Grades (view only)
  • Graduation Status (view only)
  • Holds (view only)
  • Shopping Cart (view only)
  • To Dos (view only)
  • Unofficial Transcript (view only)
  • View/Pay What I Owe (without access to eSuite)


Students can create and manage guest users only on the Albert Mobile website, which is accessible from desktop browsers as well.

Access to view tuition & housing bills and make payments is managed separately within eSuite.

For Students: How to grant Guest User access

  • Students can grant and revoke access for Guest Users to their information in Albert Mobile.
  • Students and Guest Users can access Albert Mobile using a browser on a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
  1. Log into Albert Mobile - https://m.albert.nyu.edu
  2. In the left-hand navigation, select "Manage Guest Users."
  3. Click on "Add a Guest User."
  4. Thoroughly read the Guest User Terms and Conditions, and if you agree, click "I Accept."
  5. Enter the Name and Email address of the Guest User and click on the + icon to expand the Access Permissions. You can then check off the items to grant to the Guest User; when you are finished, click on the Save button. 
    1. You may return to this page later to grant/revoke access to any/all Guest Users at any time.
    2. Note that when your Guest User logs in, they will see your Preferred Name as set in Albert.

For Guest Users: How to get access to Albert Mobile

  • With Albert Mobile, students can grant or revoke access to their information to Guest Users.
  • Students and Guest Users can access Albert Mobile using a browser on a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
  1. Your student must first log onto Albert Mobile and enter your information to be a Guest User
  2. Once they have done so, an email will be sent to you listing the items that you have been granted access to within your student's account. This email will also include your Guest User login credentials and instructions on how to access your student's Albert Mobile account as a Guest User.
  3. Once you click the link from the email, select "Albert Mobile Login" from the menu.
  4. Enter the username and password from the email you received.
  5. After a successful sign-in, you will see your student's Albert Mobile Dashboard. Use the left-hand navigation menu to view your student's information.
