Brooklyn Meal Plans

Brooklyn meal plans are available to Brooklyn residents only. However, Tandon students have the option to purchase any Washington Square meal plan instead of a Brooklyn plan. Tandon School of Engineering students living in a Manhattan residence hall must sign up for a Washington Square meal plan. Browse Brooklyn meal plans below, or click here to see Washington Square plans.

For complete descriptions and terms of use, browse the NYU Dining Guide; the most recent version can be accessed on our Dining On Campus homepage.

Freshmen and First-Year Tandon Students

All freshmen or first-year students in the School of Engineering who live in Brooklyn residence halls are required to register for the BRKLYN 1300 meal plan.

Tandon Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

All upperclassmen living in Othmer are required to participate in the meal plan program. Students living in Othmer rooms/suites without kitchens must register for the BRKLYN 1300, and those living in apartment-style rooms may choose between the BRKLYN 1300 and BRKLYN 980 plans.

Upperclassmen living in Clark may select any plan — no minimum required — or can choose to not register. Likewise, upperclassmen who commute to campus are not required to purchase a plan.
