Yoga and Brunch

Saturday, Feb. 2, 9:15am-12:30pm | Meet at 9:15 in the Kimmel Center for University Life

Kick off the semester right on Saturday, February 2nd, with a relaxing yoga session at Yoga Vida, followed by brunch at Vanessa's Dumplings! Meet at the Kimmel first floor lobby at 9:15am. Bring your towels and your appetites!

Brooklyn Nets Vs. Denver Nuggets at the Barclay Center    

Wednesday, Feb. 13, 5:00pm-9:00pm | Meet at 5:00 in the Kimmel Center for University Life

Come dressed in your Nets gear to cheer on this Brooklyn team against the Denver Nuggets! Prior to the game, we will be eating at Junior's Cheesecake Factory. Bring your appetite! Bring your cheering voice! We are going to have an amazing Wednesday afternoon.

Bronx Zoo 

Saturday, March 9, 11:00am-3:00pm | Meet at the Fordham Road Gate Entrance of the Bronx Zoo

Join us for an afternoon at the world’s largest urban zoo! The Bronx Zoo features more than 600 species from around the world. From mammals to birds, the animals and exhibits are a must see! With so much ground to cover, food will be ordered in advance for us to reenergize at the zoo.

Brooklyn Bridge and Grimaldi's Pizza 

Saturday, April 6th, 11:00am-3:00pm | Meet in the Kimmel Center for University Life for 11am

In the world of pizza, Grimaldi's history of coal-fired brick over pizza cooking can be traced to the first pizzeria in America back in 1905. It is only fitting that after crossing such a historic landmark like the Brooklyn Bridge, grads be rewarded with Grimaldi's Pizza.

Grads Go Biking

Sunday, April 14, 11:30am- 2:30pm | Meet at Bike and Roll/ Tavern on the Green (West 67th Street Central park for 11:30am)

Join your NYU classmates for an incredible afternoon bike ride of Central Park. Part exercise, part sightseeing, ALL FUN! Bring a water bottle and warm clothes. Note: Bikes are reserved for 2.5 hours! If you are up for the time, we are excited to have you join us.

Grads Go Urban Farming

Sunday, April 14th, 4:00pm-6:00pm | Meet at the Southeast corner of Broadway and 14th Street at 4pm.

Take a break from studying and come on down to learn all about Urban Farming. This is a crash course designed to teach you the fundamentals of rooftop and urban farming. Learn how to grow your own edible vegetables in the city! You will also learn how to build your own worm bin. Awesome! You will be up and running your own garden by the summer.

Grads Play Scrabble

Get your game face on as we play some Scrabble! After meeting in Kimmel, we will walk over to Slice and Organic Pizza in the West Village. We will have 5 patio tables, and the Scrabble challenge will begin! YOU WILL BE RANDOMLY MATCHED! Each group of four will play a full game!

Saturday, April 20th, 12:15pm-4:00pm | Meet at the Kimmel Center for University Life for 12:15pm

The world renowned Royal Shakespeare Company returns to BAM, with a new twist on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Set in present day Africa and featuring an all-bacl cast, the visionary production echoes recent regime struggles throughout the continent. The first production from the RSC's newly appointed artistic director Gregory Doran, this staging features sets by Michael Vale and live performances of contemporary West African music, fostering the contemporary resonance of this classic political thriller.
