The festival is centered around the topic of women in music production, specifically on how to get involved in the technical side of the music industry and the relationship between music production and commerce. Grads Go to the "Why We Fight: Remembering AIDS Activism" Exhibit | Saturday, November 9 12:00pm
Join Adriana at the New York Public Library for this exhibit highlighting the efforts by New York City HIV-AIDS activists to inform and protect communities. A group lunch and discussion will follow. Please register at the SRC, Suite 210 of the Kimmel Student Center by Friday, November 8.
Grads Go to Zumba in McCarren Park | Saturday, November 9 11:00am Join Ana and other grad students for a Zumba session at McCarren Play Park Center in Williamsburg! Let's meet up in front of Kimmel on November 9th at 11:00 am and we'll take the train over. No prior experience in Zumba is necessary. Grads Go Tour Central Park | Sunday, November 10 11:00am Join Brianna for a foot tour of Central Park. We will meet at 105th St and 5th Ave at 11:00am. The tour will encompass the upper area of the park, which is often unvisited and looks more like a forest. We will also see at least one secret waterfall and visit the conservatory gardens. Grads Go Ice Skating | Sunday, November 17 5:30pm Join Brianna, Nasreen, and other grads at Lasker Rink for an evening of ice skating. This Central Park rink is the perfect place to create enchantment in a picturesque winter wonderland. You can purchase a ticket for $5 online here. Guests are welcome but must pay their own way and therefore do not need a ticket.
Grads Go to Amateur Night at the Apollo | Wednesday, November 20 7:00pm Join Steve and other grads for a night out at the Apollo. Amateur Night showcases aspiring performance artists in their quest to become "Top Dog." Tickets are $5 and available online here.
Grads Go to a Holiday Market | Saturday, November 23 Join Kristen and fellow grads at the Union Square Holiday Market! We will meet at 10:00am in front of the Kimmel Center and walk over together. This year, the market will host over 150 vendors who specialize in homemade goods and cuisines. Please RSVP here.

Join Jossie and other grads at the Lower East Side Bikram Studio for a Bikram HOT Yoga session. Bikram Yoga is a very precisely designed yoga series that takes you through 26 postures, warming and stretching muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the order in which they should be stretched. This event is open to all levels; no prior yoga experience necessary! We will provide mats, towels, and the heat. Please RSVP here.
Grads Go to Cultural Freeseums | Saturday, December 7
Join Scott and other GSAs throughout Manhattan at one of five free cultural museums: The Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture, El Museo del Barrio, The Jewish Museum, Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, or the Museum of the American Indian.
