Come learn the story of 97 Orchard Street. Built on Manhattan's Lower East Side in 1863, this tenement apartment building was home to nearly 7000 working class immigrants. They faced challenges we understand today: making a new life, working for a better future, starting a family with limited means. In recognizing the importance of this seemingly ordinary building, the Tenement Museum has re-imagined the role that museums can play in our lives. This trip is currently full.

Volunteer with fellow NYU grads at the 9th annual New York City ‘Walk with Us to Cure Lupus’ walk-a-thon! This event changes lives and brings people together in the quest to end the suffering caused by lupus. Free food and t-shirts will be provided for volunteers during the event. Volunteer duties will consist of directing walkers during the event and helping with clean-up afterwards. Immediately following, we will end the night at Les Poisson Rouge's weekly "Le Bingo," where the tagline is "Everyone's got a chance to win at this rollicking and fun-filled affair!"
