Advising and Course Registration

Submit I-20 / DS-2019 Application

For new international students, the Office of Global Services (OGS) strongly recommends that applications be filed at least three months prior to intended NYU start date in case of visa delays or security checks for administrative processing at U.S. consulates abroad.

Access to Job Listings, On-Campus Employment and Coaching

The Wasserman Center's job search database system, NYU CareerNet, is the best place to start your job search for on and off campus employment, as well as internship positions, and to schedule coaching appointments (in-person, telephone, and virtual).

Events, Resources, and Services Mailing*

Information about the  NYU Bookstore and Computer Store, on-campus dining options, residence hall linens, athletics and recreation, the NYUCard and Campus Cash, and a first glimpse at Welcome Week — NYU's jam packed schedule of events, programs, and services for incoming students held the week before the start of classes, as well the Commuter Overnight Retreat, Project Outreach, and the NYU Welcome Day event on Move-In Day.

Commuter Webinar Registration Opens

Join us for an interactive live webinar to learn more about the Commuter Overnight Retreat, Commuter Assistants, Commuter Connection Communities, and a variety of other programs to help you get meet other students at NYU. These information based conversations will introduce various commuter services including access to lockers on campus, our Commuter Den and Lounge, as well as commuting tips from upperclassmen students. This is a great opportunity to ask questions as well!

Transfer Student Webinar Registration Opens

This live and interactive webinar will share countless opportunities on how you can meet other students through fun and informative programs, navigate your new campus and new campus culture, and ways to get involved!. You will hear about our Transfer Ambassador Program, the Transfer Immersion Program, our Transfer Connection Communities, and our Transfer Student Association. This is also a great place to ask questions.

Project OutReach Application Deadline

Project OutReach is a week-long, intensive program sponsored by the Center for Student Life. OutReach is held the week prior to Welcome Week, and brings together service-minded incoming first-year and transfer students for leadership training, service, and reflection from August 22-26, 2017.  Please contact project.outreach@nyu.edu with any questions.

Parent News Mailing*

Contains information for parents about what to expect in the coming months, navigating NYU (it's a big place, but we're here to help!), supporting your students, staying connected, New Student Send-Offs, Parents Welcome on NYU Welcome Day, and Parents Day.  Translated documents are also available in Korean, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.

Health Insurance Enrollment Change or Waiver  Available

Most students are automatically enrolled in an NYU-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan. Students can use the online process to change their NYU plan option or to waive the NYU plan if they maintain alternate insurance coverage that meets the University's criteria. Read more »
