Levels of stress and anxiety are at an all-time high. Are you looking to address this crisis with evidence-based tools?
Research shows that meditation and mindfulness practices are effective at lowering levels of student stress and promoting resilience and belonging.
Serving over sixty thousand students with sixteen classes per week and award-winning retreats, programs, and workshops, MindfulNYU is the largest, most inclusive campus-based mindfulness initiative in the country.
Join Mindful NYU, The Of Many Institute for Multifaith Leadership at NYU, and the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development to learn:
WATCH Highlights from the 2018 Summer Institute
Effective strategies for building and growing a mindfulness program on your campus, from launch to assessment
Methodologies for deepening your own mindfulness practice, avoiding burnout, and leading meditation safely and responsibly — even as a beginner
Tools for fostering the leadership of and community for underserved populations and tying your program to social good
At the conclusion of the Institute, participants will receive a certificate in Mindful Leadership in Higher Education, and will have the opportunity to apply for micro-grants ($300-$1000) to help seed new mindfulness programs in their communities. More details about these grants will be available at the Institute. Browse a full list of grant-funded programs that emerged from last year’s institute.
Registration for the Summer Institute and the Outreach Yoga Training must be done separately. Participants may register for one or the other — or both!
