Who are Peers in Residence?The Peer Educators in Residence (PEIR) program is a premier leadership opportunity within the Division of Student Affairs that connects the services of several affiliate offices to the residential experience by utilizing the expertise of students who are trained to provide educational programs and outreach in alignment with the mission of the New York University. Peer Educators in Residence are full-time students in their sophomore year or more, in good academic standing, living in the residence halls. They serve as a resource, referral agent, educator, and role model for other students. The role of the Peer Educator in Residence includes:
