Campus Safety and Security

The responsibility to create and sustain a safe and secure campus is one that is shared by all members of the University community.  Each student is expected not only to conduct his/her academic and non-academic life in a manner that demonstrates consideration for the rights, property, and interests of other community members but also to share with faculty and administrators the responsibility for maintaining an environment that preserves everyone’s interests by reporting incidents of concern in which they are involved as a victim or an observer.  The Division of Student Affairs and other University offices work cooperatively with the Department of Public Safety to address any/all such situations.
