Transfer & Transitioning Student Outing: Rockefeller Center
Tuesday, December 4th from 5:45pm | Meet on Kimmel Center Grand Stairway
Midterms are finally over and finals are right around the corner. So take a small break and join the NYU Transfer Ambassadors for an exciting trip to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas Tree. This will be a great way to bond with other transfer and transitioning students, experience the magnificent scenery of Rockefeller Center, and best of all, enjoy hot chocolate on the house! Metro Cards will be provided as well.
End of Year Study Break
Wednesday, December 5th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm | Commuter Lounge, Kimmel 2nd Floor
Come relax at the transfer and transitioning student end of the year stress relieving celebration! We will have delicious, free holiday themed food, including Insomnia Cookies and Sticky's Chicken Fingers. There will be relaxing and fun activities including cookie decorating and watching a holiday movie to get us in the spirit. Bring your friends and relax before finals! Come kick back, relax and have a cookie!
Grand Slam - Slam! at NYU's final Poetry Slam of the Semester
Thursday, December 6th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm | Palladium MPR (3rd Floor)
Join Slam! at NYU (NYU's slam poetry club) for their final Grand Slam this Thursday, Dec. 6th at 8pm in the Palladium MPR. Mahogany Browne, of the Nuyorican Poet's Cafe will host our event, as 12 poets compete to win 6 spots on the NYU Slam Team, which will compete in April to reclaim the title of National CUPSI Champions. Featuring Adam Faulkner, poet, performer, English teacher and Founder of Dialogue Arts Program, a non-profit that incorporates creative writing, performing, and dialogue into the teaching process. $3.00 at the door. Planning to Study Away? Enroll in "Maximizing the Global Advantage"
'Maximizing the Global Advantage' is a zero-credit, 8-week course offered in spring 2013 that allows undergraduates planning to study at a global site to discuss the challenges and opportunities available in the Global Network University.

Class of 2013: Thursday from 12:30-1:30pm
Class of 2014: Tuesday from 1-2pm
Class of 2015: Monday from 5-6pm
Class of 2016: Monday from 6:30-7:30pm
It's never too late to GET INVOLVED. Class Activities Boards are a great way for NYU undergraduate students to get involved with campus life, meet other active students, plan interesting and fun events, and gain valuable leadership experience. Attend a meeting next week in the NYU Student Resource Center (2nd Floor of Kimmel).
