Transfer Student Services at the Student Resource Center sponsors events throughout the year for all NYU transfer students. We kick off the year with Welcome Week, and then plan an ongoing calendar of socials, outings, and workshops. The major events listed here are only a few of the programs for transfers. The first transfer event of each academic year is our annual Transfer Welcome, on the first day of Welcome Week. All new transfer students are invited to meet the Transfer Student Services staff and student leaders, get to know other new students, and learn about important transfer student resources.

Join us as we start the semester off right. On the first Thursday of the new semester we hold a "Question & Answer" session in which you can catch up with old friends and meet new transfers. New NYU students be sure to come prepared with questions as seasoned transfers will be sharing secrets of NYU and advice they wish they'd had when they first transferred to NYU.

Spring Welcome Week offers programs and events designed just for new transfer students! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get to know NYU and NYC through programs and student outings as well meeting other NYU students. Spring Welcome Week programs are offered during the first week of school of the spring semester.
NYC transfer outings
Want to enjoy all of the things that New York has to offer on a budget? Well Transfer Student Association (TSA) helps you do this by planning low cost trips to Broadway shows, museum and sporting events. You can also share ideas of a place you have always wanted to explore. We have done neighborhood outing including visiting the infamous Magnolia Bakery and a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.

After stressing over the semester, join us for us relaxation time before the crunch of finals begins. For our last meeting in the fall we will have holiday treats to warm you as you escape the cold. While our last Monday meeting in the spring will be a chill out time where you can indulge in ice cream and create your own sundaes.
