NYU During the Holiday Break

Not all NYU facilities will remain open as usual during the holiday break. See below for complete information regarding office closings. Please note, it is a good idea to call a building or hall ahead of time if you plan on using it from December 23rd through January 19th.

For emergencies over the break, contact the Public Safety Office at 212-998-2222 or the Wellness Exchange at 212-443-9999; Both numbers are also listed on the back of your NYUCard.

Residence Halls

All NYU Residence Halls will remain open, although services such as dining halls and computer labs will operate on their own schedules. Many halls will sponsor events over the holidays. Click here for a full listing of programs, or talk to your RA.

Kimmel Center

The Kimmel Center is open until 4 pm on Tuesday, December 23rd and re-opens January 5th.

Student Health Center

The Student Health Center will be closed December 23rd through January 4th, and January 19th. From January 5th through the 18th, hours are as follows: Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm; Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. For medical and mental health needs when closed, call the Wellness Exchange at 212-443-9999.

NYU Bookstores

Closed December 24th - January 2nd. Regular bookstore hours will resume following this break.

NYU Computer Store

The computer store will close at 6 pm on Deember 22nd and at 5 pm on December 23rd. The store will remain closed from December 24th to January 2nd. Regular hours will resume following this break.

Bobst Library

Bobst library will be closed December 24th to December 26th, December 31st, and January 1st and 2nd. The library will be open December 20th to the 23rd, 27th to the 30th, and will have limited hours from January 3rd through the 18th. Visit the library website for further information.

Computer Labs

All ITS labs will be closed December 23rd-January 1st. Limited intersession hours (January 2nd-18th). ITS labs will also be closed on January 19th. Full information on ITS labs and other services over break at www.nyu.edu/its/coverage.

Coles Sports Center

Coles will be closed December 24th-26th and January 1st. It will be open December 31st (9am - 5pm), January 7th - 11 th (9am - 10pm), December 27th - 28th, January 2nd - 4th (12pm - 10pm), December 29th - 30th, January 5th - 6th (9am - 8pm). Regular hours will resume on January 12th.

Palladium Athletic Facility

Palladium will be closed December 23rd-26th and December 31st -January 2nd. It will be open from 12:00pm - 9:00pm all other days December 27th-January 27th.

There will be no transporation services available from December 20th through January 4th. Beginning January 5th campus transportation will operate on a modified schedule. For full information click here.
