» Bronx Zoo

November 16th - December 16th, January 4 - 6 Friday and Saturday only. December 16th - January 1, every night except December 24th and 25th.
Over 150 illuminated animal and holiday sculptures, music, and ice carving.

» Grand Central Station

November 30th - January 1st. Every half hour, 11:00am - 9:00pm.
All new laser-light shows transform the constellations into snowmen and city landmarks, all choreographed to holiday favorites. Free!

» Winter Garden at World Financial Center November 28th - January 7th, 7 am - midnight daily
The palm trees get a glimmering, shimmering holiday make-over including over 100,000 twinkling lights. Free!

Central Park Bandshell

NYU During Winter Break
Not all NYU facilities will remain open as usual during Winter Break. It is a good idea to call a building or hall in advance if you plan to use it from December 21st - January 19th.

» Residence Halls All residence halls will remain open, although services such as dining halls and computing labs will operate on their own schedules. Many halls will sponsor events over the holidays. See a list or talk to your RA.
» Kimmel Center Open until 4pm on Friday, December 21st. Reopens January 2nd from 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Reopens January 22nd.
» Student Health Center Closed December 22nd - January 1st. Open January 2nd - January 17th (8am - 6pm), and January 18th (10am - 5pm). For medical and mental health needs when closed, call the Wellness Exchange at 212-443-9999.
» NYU Bookstores

Closed December 22nd - January 1st. Health Sciences Bookstore open December 26th - 27th 10am - 5pm.

» NYU Computer Store Closed December 22nd - January 1st.
» Bobst Library Closed Dec. 23rd - 25th, 29th - 31st, January 1st. Open December 22nd, 26th- 28th, January 2nd - 20th on limited hours (see website for specifics).

» NYU Dining

All dining halls will be closed December 22nd-January 21st with the following exceptions:

>Kimmel Market Place (Mon-Fri) beginning January 2nd (no meal plans);
>Dunkin Donuts (closed Christmas and New Years): Regular Hours
>Starbucks on the Square: Open Regular Hours beginning January 2nd.

» Coles Sports Center Coles will be closed December 24th-26th and January 1st.
It will be open December 31st (9am - 5pm), January 7th - 11 th (9am - 10pm), December 27th - 28th, January 2nd - 4th (12pm - 10pm), December 29th - 30th, January 5th - 6th (9am - 8pm).
Regular hours will resume on January 12th.
» Palladium Athletic Facility Palladium will be closed December 23rd-26th and December 31st -January 2nd. It will be open from 12:00pm - 9:00pm all other days December 27th-January 27th.
» Wasserman Center for Career Development Open 9am to 5pm, beginning January 2, 2008. For workshops and seminars offered during the break, click here.
