Transfer Student Welcome Back Lunch
Thursday, September 5th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm | Kimmel Center, Room 802
Join the Transfer/Transition Ambassadors, Transfer & Transitioning Student Association, and the Student Resource Center for a welcome back lunch. Current students will answer questions you might have as you transition to NYU, share advice they wish they knew when they started here, and of course there will be FREE food!
Reality Show: NYU
Thursday, September 16th from 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place
The Reality Show is a gritty, funny musical about the lives of NYU students as they experience an array of confouncing, confusing and exciting issues.

TransferMation is designed to empower and challenge service-minded transfer and transitioning students as they participate in a semester-long service learning experience. The program culminates in a week-long Alternative Break, a trip where students participate in volunteer service activities. The program will bring together new and returning transfer and transitioning students for an opportunity to develop leadership skills through direct service, education and reflection, while encouraging personal growth, social awareness, and active citizenship. TransferMation is advised by two Transfer Student Leaders and a Graduate Student. Applications are due by Monday, September 16th, so apply today by clicking here! University Programs: Fall in New York Orientation
Tuesday, September 3rd from 6:00pm to 7:00pm | Kimmel Center, Room 909
Students participating in Fall in New York must attend a check-in session. Check-in sessions will take place during Welcome Week and the first week of classes at the Kimmel Center for University Life at 60 Washington Square South. Students will be required to RSVP for a check-in session. Attendance is mandatory. Please note: in order to access the RSVP form, you must be logged in to NYU Home. There will also be an academic orientation/advising session for International Exchange Students on Monday, August 26th from 2-4 pm.
Mystery Concert 2013
Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00pm, Door Open at 6:30pm | Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place
Performers that we've hosted in the past include: Animal Collective, Beirut, Big Boi, Raekwon, Flying Lotus, and The Shins. In past years, we have had to turn away hundreds of students due to full capacity, so come early!
The Club Fest
Monday, September 9th from 12:00pm to 7:00pm | Coles Sports and Recreation Center, 181 Mercer Street
The Club Fest provides an opportunity for students to learn more about ways to get involved on campus. Joining a student club opens doors to building new friendships, enhancing your academic life, and exploring career opportunities. Come learn about the diverse array of clubs and organizations recognized by the Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service.
