Transition 101: Career Considerations
Thursday, October 3rd at 12:30pm | Wasserman Center (Presentation Room A)
This week's Transition 101 will focus on the exploration of internships and part-time jobs. The Wasserman Center for Career Development will introduce students to the resources available to them from on-campus jobs, to internship opportunities, and thinking about their future career. Additionally, students will be able to bring their resumes/cover letters to the work-shop and ask specific questions to help them begin to explore their academic and career paths.

The Transfer & Transitioning Student Association (TTSA) is a student-run organization that works to enhance student life for transfer and transitioning students at NYU. There are many ways to get involved on the Board and beyond! Come to our weekly meetings to find out how you can get involved!


2013 NYU Wellness Expo

The event is free for students and is a great way to get better acquainted with wellness resources offered at NYU! Come enjoy free flu shots, massages, healthy snacks, games, prizes, and lots of great giveaways!

Queering Musical Theatre
Wednesday, October 9th from 12:30pm to 1:45pm | Kimmel Center, Room 602
Curious about "queering" the musical theatre scene? Kimberlea Kressel from the recently produced musical Lesbian Love Octagon, Teresa Lotz and Rachel Kunstadt from the Duplex Cabaret Series LezCab talk about their experiences as queer womyn and the creation of a niche for queer womyn in musical theatre today.

Multiple (Eye)dentity Series featuring Mark Travis Rivera
Thursday, October 17th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm | Kimmel Center, Room 802
The Multiple (Eye)dentity Series is comprised of films, performances and speakers that showcase the ways in which art and media are platforms for creating dialogue, sharing personal narratives, exploring issues of identity and diversity, and encouraging activism and social change. Mark Travis Rivera is a Latino, an activist, dance, choreographer, and writer. His dance company, marked dance project, is a contemporary-modern dance company that includes dancers with and without disabilities. Join us and learn more about Mark's journey and catch a sample of his amazing work!
