Transfer Recognition Day - Nominate a Transfer!

Transfer Recogntion Day will be a series of events to celebrate the hard work of new and returning transfers. We will also be acknowledging transfers (both new and returning) that have enhanced the NYU and/or NYC community.


Vote in the NYC General Elections
Tuesday, November 5th from 6:00am-9:00pm
Remember to vote in the New York City General Elections! To find your polling station, please click here.
To vote, you must go to your assigned Election District polling place which is indicated on your voter registration card or ask any election officials at the polling site to look up your address in the street locator to ensure you are at the right poll site and election table. After you sign your name on the computer listing (poll list) of registered voters, a poll worker will issue you a voter card, ballot, and privacy sleeve and direct you to a privacy booth or BMD to mark your ballot.

NYU Cross-School Minors Showcase
Wednesday, November 6th from 12:00pm-2:00pm | Silver Center, Hemmerdinger Hall (Ground Floor)
Open to all NYU undergraduates. Learn about a wide range of minors in CAS, Social Work, Steinhardt, Stern, Tisch, and Wagner. Over 75 minors will be represented (see below). Join on Facebook. For a full list of minors, please visit the NYU Cross-School Minors website.

Free Kaplan DAT/MCAT Review Material Giveaway w/Stressbusters
Thursday, November 7th from 4:00pm-5:00pm | Kimmel Center, Room 904
In addition to free Kaplan material, Stressbusters will be on site to give free backrubs. This event is hosted by the Pre-Dental Outreach Club.

Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) Program
Deadline to Apply: Sunday, November 24th by midnight
The Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) Program is a nationally recognized 1-credit course that brings together small groups of students from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and gain new knowledge related to diversity and social justice. This 8-week course is open to all NYU undergraduate students, and takes place in the Spring semester. IGD is a 8-week course that lasts from February 21 to April 25th, 2014. If you would like more information about this program, there will be an information session on Thursday, November 7th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in Kimmel Center, Room 806.
