Commuter Student Services

veterans day

Commuter Assistant
Commuter Assistants are knowledgeable upperclass students who serve as a source of support for new undergraduate commuters. Students can contact CAs with questions about everything from getting involved on campus to managing time. Each new freshman and transfer student is assigned a Commuter Assistant – any new undergraduate student who doesn’t know his/her commuter assistant can contact Commuter Student Services for that information.

Commuter Circle
Commuter Circle is a student-run club which, in conjunction with Commuter Student Services, is dedicated to enhancing student life for NYU commuters by providing opportunities for students to meet and socialize, to get involved in campus life and make the most of their NYU experience. Commuter Circle sponsors a weekly lunch series, publishes the Commuter Circular newsletter, and plans events througout the year.

Off-Campus Student Council
The Off-Campus Student Council, or OCSC, is the voice of off-campus students. As the primary advocates for off-campus students, the OCSC expresses the concerns and needs of off-campus students to the university. The OCSC is composed of an executive board and elected representatives, but all off-campus students are welcome to attend meetings. If you want to make your voice heard, get involved with the OCSC!
