Graduate Student Ambassador Application
The Graduate Student Ambassador (GSA) program is a leadership program designed to build engagement among graduate students. Graduate Ambassadors will enhance student engagement by facilitating programs designed by graduate students for graduate students. This will give graduate students an opportunity to engage in leading their fellow peers on trips in NYC, while meeting more graduate students and developing community. Graduate Students/Faculty of Color September Dinner
Wednesday, September 12, 6:00pm - 7:30pm | Kimmel Center, Room 405
Each month, the dinner allows for informal interaction between graduate students and faculty providing an opportunity to hear about individual journeys navigating the academy and other professional arena. Annual Graduate Student Library Reception

Annual Graduate Student Reception is a great opportunity to meet your subject librarian, as well as mingle with your fellow graduate students over some complimentary food and drinks. We will be giving away NYU Bookstore gift certificates to some lucky attendees.

FOCUS Mentorship Program
Do you want to make an impact during your time at NYU? Then, FOCUS is the program for you! FOCUS is a structured mentorship program designed to offer first and second year undergraduate students who identify as first generation college students and/or students of color the opportunity to develop relationships with NYU Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Graduate Students or other professionals who can serve as resources and/or advocates through establishing an ongoing mentoring relationship.

Grads Go See Comedy: Upright Citizens Brigade

Who does not like to laugh? Come join The Office of Graduate Student Life as we eat & laugh the night away at improvisational and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Prior to this wonderful show, we will be having a quick dinner at 2 Brother's Pizza! In order to reserve your spot, you will need to RSVP here.
RSVPs will be confirmed with a $5 co-payment on a first come, first serve basis. The co-pay should be submitted to the Office of Graduate Student Life, located in the Kimmel Center suite 210, 60 Washington Square South.

Love food? Want to explore a neighborhood right next to NYU? Then join us an afternoon of food tasting as we visit 8 different locations in our East Village Food Tour! The locations included in this tour will be: Mamoun's, Pomme Frites, Xi'an Famous Foods, Crif Dogs, Big Gay Ice Cream Shop, Abraco, Momofuku Noodle Bar, and Veniero's Pasticceria and Caffe.
