Soldiers Sharing Stories from the Front
Monday, November 19th from 6:30pm | 9/11 Tribute Center, 120 Liberty Street
The 9/11 Tribute Center and the NYU Creative Writing Program will present Solderis’ Stories from the Front, an Evening of Veterans Reading Their Writing. The Tribute Center encourages members of the 9/11 community and the public to support our military by attending and having an opportunity to better understand the personal stories of their experiences both overseas and at home.

A Very Grad Thanksgiving!

Join us for our annual Graduate Student Thanksgiving Celebration on Thanksgiving Day! We will be serving a delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, pie and more! This fun affair will feature music and movies, in addition to great food and friends.

We hope you will join us! The cost is a $5 non-refundable deposit that can be dropped off at 4 Washington Square Village, room 1A (Entrance on Bleecker between LaGuardia and Mercer), Monday-Friday from 9-5PM.To RSVP, please click here.

Intergroup Dialogue Application Available
Application Deadline: November 25 at Midnight
Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) is a nationally recognized 1-credit course that brings together small groups of undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and gain new knowledge related to diversity and social justice. This 8-week course takes place in the spring semester only and is facilitated by NYU graduate students.

Graduate Student Research Breakfast

We're getting ready for the final stretch of the semester and wanted to invite you to join us for a special event. Come have breakfast, talk with our librarians about your project, and take care of those lingering research to-do list items. We'll have specialists from across the disciplines who can help get you (re)oriented to our resources, get you started with citation management tools, and help you get the most out of our collections and services. Students in the Military Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday, December 5, 5:00pm-7:00pm | Student Resource Center, Suite 210 of the Kimmel Center for University Life
The advisory board plays an active role in sharing the needs of the students as well as providing input and assisting with events, programs and resources for students in the military. This is an excellent way to get involved at NYU, help the community of students in the military and make sure that your voice is being heard at an administrative level. Please RSVP here.

CMEP Graduate Students of Color Social

Socials are an opportunity for graduate students across disciplines to interact with one another and other members of the NYU community. Socials include complementary appetizers and drink specials for the NYU community from 5-9 PM. All Members of the NYU community are welcome to attend!

Grads Go Baking
Saturday, December 8, 1:30pm-3:00pm | Meet in Kimmel Lobby at 1:30pm
Master baker, Christy Spackmen, will lead grads in an epic holiday baking lesson at the NYU Steinhardt kitchen. Let the flour fly, as we create delicious sweet treats for the finals season. You will have the opportunity to work on several different recipes, meet some cool cookin’ grads like yourself, and take home a ton of goodies that you can share! To RSVP, please click here.
