Graduate Students/Faculty of Color Dining Series
Wednesday, November 7th, 6:00pm-7:30pm | Location TBA
Graduate Students/Faculty of Color Dinner Series allows for informal conversations between faculty and graduate students of color over dinner. The purpose of the dinner is to provide an opportunity for Graduate Students to hear from various faculty members about their journeys and best practices for navigating the academy in an intimate setting. This program is in partnership with the Office of Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center. This talk will include Vincent Guilamo-Ramos. Space is limited. Students in the Military Meet-Up
Thursday, November 8th, 5:00pm-7:00pm | Amity Hall- 80 West 3rd Street
The semester is almost over, come out and join students in the military and veterans to relax before finals! If you were unable to come to events earlier on this semester, take this opportunity to meet and mingle with other students! Amity Hall will provide happy hour specials, and we will provide the appetizers - you provide the good company! Please RSVP here.

Rescheduled: Grads Go Explore: Museum of Sex

Join grads for a trip to the notorious Museum of Sex! The Museum of Sex eliminates any stigma against stuffy museum visits and proves itself a venue both quirky and educational. In recognizing the importance of cultural views of sex and sexuality, the Museum of Sex has re-imagined the role that museums can play in our lives. Please note that if you already RSVP'd for the first event, you must RSVP again.

In order to reserve your spot, please RSVP here. RSVPs will be confirmed with a $7.00 deposit on a first come, first serve basis. The deposit should be submitted to Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center, located in the Kimmel Center suite 210, 60 Washington Square South.

Join fellow grad students and grab a drink before the semester gets too stressful! We will provide the appetizers and West 3rd Commons will provide the drink specials - you provide the good company!

Grads Go Out: LGBTQ & Ally Community Building in NYC
Sunday, November 17th, 3:30pm-8:00pm | Meet in Kimmel Center Lobby at 3:30pm
Join us for a night OUT! All graduate students are invited to meet and network during this afternoon of LGBTQ & Ally community building that will feature informal discussions, resource sharing, networking and food! Grads will start their afternoon at Soho's Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay & Lesbian Art. Immediately following we will end the night at Les Poisson Rouge's weekly "Le Bingo", where the tagline is "Everyone’s got a chance to win at this rollicking and fun-filled affair!". Grads Go Skating
Saturday, November 17th, 1:00pm-5:00pm | Meet at Skate Rental Booth near 40th Street and 6th Ave at 1:00pm

Experience ice skating as only a New Yorker can at Bryant Park's Winter Ice Rink. We will be meeting near the West Gate of Bryant Park (40th Street at 6th Avenue) at the Skate Rental Booth. Following our freestyle skating (feel free to try a double-axle), we will warm up with cups of hot cocoa and marshmallows!

Grads Go Explore: National Museum of American Indians
Sunday, November 18th, 11:00am-2:00pm | Meet in Kimmel Lobby at 11:00am
Interested in learning more about American Indian culture? Join grads for a guided tour by Asia Tail (Cherokee) at the Museum of the American Indian! The tour will feature the current exhibit Infinity of Nations. Prior to our departure to the museum, we will start the day off right with brunch at Pick A Bagel- known for its assortment of fresh food.

Grads Go Explore: La Mama Experimental Theatre
Sunday, November 18th, 4:00pm-7:00pm | Meet in Kimmel Lobby at 4:00pm
Join fellow grads for some Korean fried chicken at Mono + Mono followed by a new interactive play at La Mama Experimental Theatre, “Die: Roll to Proceed.” In this existential comedy with 240 different possible endings, you hold the characters’ lives in your hands. Audience members roll the die as two roommates give up complete control and hope for the best."
